Songful Stories Project: Making Room for Queer Stories With Children and LGBTQ+ Elders

Many arts educators implement inclusive pedagogies to bring LGBTQ+ representation into the classroom, but there is an urgent need to design learning spaces with room for the queer stories and LGBTQ+ people already present in children’s lives. This presentation considers approachable tools for pursuing queer pedagogies within intergenerational learning spaces.
