Teaching Leadership One Artwork at a Time Through a Middle School and Art Museum Partnership
Part of 2026 NAEA National Convention
Saturday 7 March 2026·2:00 pm
This presentation shares a leadership-focused art education program where 8th-grade students become Teen Tour Guides, leading engaging, inquiry-based museum tours for their 6th-grade peers. Educators will explore how classroom and art museum experiences build student confidence and leadership and leave with practical strategies enacting similar techniques in their schools.
