Saved by the App: Ancient ARchaeology Adventures

Step into the world of augmented reality and discover how Reality Composer on iPads can transform curriculum connections across grade levels. In this session, a Digital Learning Coach and classroom teacher share how they collaborated to design engaging, student-centered projects. Participants will explore how students created interactive 3D tombs to connect with IB Design and Social Studies standards‚ complete with protective structures, hieroglyphics, and artifacts of cultural significance. Attendees will also see cross-curricular extensions, including extension activities. Participants will leave with tips and tricks to ensure smooth classroom implementation, plus time to explore Reality Composer, interact with sample student projects, and start designing their own AR space.
