Unlocking the Creative Magic of Canva: Activities made for using Canva's Magic Media tool

Participants will experience Canva in new ways during this session by using its AI image generation tool, Magic Media. Participants will partake in a model lesson using Magic Media, which will create space for them to think critically and creatively as they approach selected learning standards from a different point of view. After the model lesson, participants will be exposed to other unique ways Magic Media can be used in the classroom. Through this session, participants will understand the benefits of using Canva with their students, and it will inspire them to come up with other creative ways to apply Canva in their lessons. Approaching the classroom through the lens of creativity is not only beneficial for our students but possibly more important for educators.
