Part of NCTCA 2026
Thursday 5 February 2026·6:30 pm
You’ve read the books and listened to the podcasts, now it’s time to step into Active Allyship! Join Alissa as they dive into what it means to take your allyship from words to actions. Through a lens of collective liberation and intersectionality, Alissa will provide you with tools to navigate difficult conversations with parents, students, and your own friends. Learn the difference between being called in vs. called out, how to decentre yourself in the conversation, and uplift the voices of marginalized communities in your classroom.
