Outcome-Based Assessment for Beginners

You’ve done your classroom education, finished your practicums and now you’re out into the world of teaching and suddenly YOU are in charge of assessing your students’ learning for an entire school year. This can feel overwhelming when you are also planning and prepping multiple courses and subject areas that are new for you. Learn some basic “tricks of the trade” that will help you set up your assessment plan in a way that communicates learning to students and parents in an effective and efficient way. While this session will be presented by a junior high science teacher, it will involve assessment and reporting methods that will be useful for all grades and subject areas.
