(Pre-Reg Max 30) Indigenous Music-Highlighting Contemporary Canadian Musicians
Part of PDTCA 2026
Thursday 19 February 2026·5:20 pm
Canada is full of a lot of talented Indigenous musicians. Every June, I highlight contemporary indigenous Canadian musicians with my students. This session will introduce you to these musicians and show you how they use their music to convey their culture, languages and the impact of residential schools. Whether you are a generalist or music teacher, you will find something in this session that you can take back to your classroom. This session works best for students in grade 4-8. Cost: $5.25 Pre-Registration Link
