Little Scientists, Big Imaginations: Exploring Science Through Creative Play
Part of 77th Annual SECA Conference
Friday 23 January 2026·1:30 pm
Young children are natural scientists—curious, imaginative, and eager to explore the world around them. This engaging session will show early childhood educators how to nurture that innate curiosity by blending scientific inquiry with creative play. Participants will discover how science and creativity are connected in early learning, and how open-ended, hands-on experiences support both.
