Part of 2026 SHAPE America National Convention & ExpoPresented by Pennington, Dr. Shannon A, & Pennington, Dr. Shannon A
Tuesday 17 March 2026·11:45 am
Physical educators can be culturally responsive to multilingual students' needs without sacrificing important movement and instructional time. In this instructional and conversational session, learn a variety of strategies, focused on but not limited to grades 6-12, which are ideal for physical education settings. Bring along your lesson or unit plans (not required) to begin examining methods for including language support in your existing curriculum. There will be opportunity to share ideas with and ask questions of other session participants.
