In recognition of innovative curriculum and instruction contributions by current physical education teachers and higher education faculty, this session will include the presentation of the Helen Heitmann Young Scholar Award and the Curriculum and Instruction Honor Award. The recipients will provide a brief overview of their work related to curriculum and instruction. The SHAPE America Curriculum & Instruction Special Interest Group (SIG) will also provide updates on its accomplishments from the year.
