This session shares lessons learned from designing, implementing, and evaluating a Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program (CSPAP) at the high school level. Drawing on research examining its impact on students’ emotional, mental, physical, and academic health, the presentation will highlight key strategies that contributed to program success, including building staff buy-in, integrating activity opportunities throughout the school day, and fostering a culture of movement beyond physical education classes. Participants will gain insights into practical, research-informed approaches that can be adapted for their own settings. The session will also address areas for growth and refinement, offering candid reflections on challenges encountered and solutions explored. Attendees will leave with actionable ideas, an understanding of what makes a CSPAP sustainable in a secondary school environment, and inspiration to enhance student wellness through whole-school physical activity initiatives.
