How Can YOU Bring Bike and Pedestrian Safety Education (PreK-8) Programming to Every Student in Your School System or Community?

Learn how a large urban district was able to create, build and sustain Bike and Pedestrian Safety Education for every student in grades PreK-8 in their physical education classrooms. An equity and access opportunity! The presenter will introduce and expand on the grade-band curriculum (All Kids Bike/PreK-2; Let’s Go/3-5; Let’s Go Further/6-8), equipment, funding opportunities to introduce and sustain bike and pedestrian safety programming. The focus of this session will be how to create and sustain partnerships along with gaining funding. Highlighting the curriculum: Let’s Go Further (6-8) -- Bike and Pedestrian Safety; Let's Go (3-5) -- Bike and Pedestrian Safety; All Kids Bike (PreK-2) -- Bike and Pedestrian Safety and and Traffic Gardens.
