This session will model and discuss purposeful movement to maximize learning and support physical and mental health. This fun active session will provide: 1) Why movement in the classroom is important for you and your students; 2) How to use instructional strategies that include movement to prepare the brain for learning; and 3) How to use movement as part of the design to teach, practice, and check for understanding.
At the end of this session, you will leave with the confidence and tools to implement instructional strategies to engage and support the well-being of ALL learners!
