Systemic Processes Produce Impact to District Well-Being
To enhance school district programs in well-being, a five-year process was begun to assist selected school districts in assessing and reviewing all programs related to school and student health and well-being. This presentation will provide you with strategies as you consider policies and practices to coordinate the district-wide processes to provide sustainable programs designed to improve all aspects of district well-being. You will become familiar with the WSCC model and toolkit.
Success stories and achievements will be highlighted and can be implemented or adapted for use in every school district. The results will demonstrate positive impacts on all aspects of student and school well-being, often at no or little cost to the district or school. A large number and variety of these successes were captured on videos, with interviews with leaders, teachers and students. These videos are found in a YouTube library and access to this library will be shared.
