Creating Super Sub Plans - From a Full Time Substitute Teacher
As a full time substitute teacher I have seen sub plans done in a variety of ways. As a full time teacher, I have also stressed over creating sub plans. Like most teachers, I have come into school on days I should have stayed home because making plans (especially last minute) filled me with dread. Working as a substitute teacher, I love a detailed plan. The more information I have the better. I want to make sure the class goes as smoothly as possible in your absence and that the students have a great day. Fortunately, for most teachers the bulk of the information your sub needs to have a good day with your class does not change from day to day. Creating a sub-day binder or folder for your classroom will save you time throughout the school year and significantly reduce the amount of time you spend stressing over and creating sub plans. 16 Participants
