Friday 20 February 2026·7:00 pm

Join speech-language pathologists from Uncovering Potential, to learn how executive functioning impacts your students. Come away with low-to-no-prep universal strategies you can implement to build these foundational skills. Reframe how you understand diverse learners from struggling with specific subjects, to seeing how incorporating executive functioning training increases student ability to learn and gain independence in all areas of the classroom. Get acquainted with what skills are included in “executive functioning” and delve deeper into understanding attention, perception, verbal and nonverbal working memory, and inhibition. Leave with a better understanding of what it looks like when students in your classroom are struggling with these skills and actionable strategies you can implement to support them. Both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners will benefit from layering executive function learning into what you are already doing in your classrooms and teachers can feel more confident in understanding what supports your students need. 65 Participants
