Discussion-Based Assessment: Ensuring Integrity in Virtual Program (001)
Part of TCEAPresented by Speaker(s): Gaganjot Singh
Discussion-Based Assessment (DBA) offers a dynamic approach to evaluating student understanding in online learning environments. Rather than relying solely on traditional assessments, DBAs foster deeper dialogue between students and educators, promoting academic integrity, critical thinking, personalized feedback, and active engagement. It allows for gauging content mastery, student reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills. In this session, participants will gain insights into leveraging DBAs to create engaging, personalized learning experiences that support academic achievement and skill development.
