Seeking EOIs - Associate Editor for The Australian Journal of Language and Literacy (AJLL)

The Australian Literacy Educators' Association (ALEA) is seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Associate Editor of the Australian Journal of Language and Literacy (AJLL), their peer-reviewed research journal published three times per year. While this is a call for applications rather than a professional development event, involvement with AJLL represents a significant professional learning opportunity for literacy researchers and educators. AJLL is directed at Australian and international audiences whose research interests span early childhood to adult literacy education, English as an additional language, Indigenous education, and learners with diverse language and literacy needs. The journal is abstracted and indexed with Elsevier and maintains a selective acceptance rate of approximately 20%. For literacy educators and researchers, AJLL serves as a crucial platform for keeping informed about national and international literacy research, understanding language and literacy issues in their wider educational and social contexts, and examining how research findings can be implemented in teaching and learning.
