Write for ALEA journals!

The Australian Literacy Educators' Association (ALEA) invites educators and researchers to contribute to its suite of peer-reviewed and practitioner-focused journals. ALEA publishes three journals, each serving a distinct audience within the literacy education community: the *Australian Journal of Language and Literacy* (AJLL), ALEA's premier research journal directed at Australian and international audiences with research interests spanning early childhood to adult literacy, EAL, and Indigenous education; *Practical Literacy: The Early and Primary Years* (PLEPY), designed for early years and primary teachers; and *Literacy Learning: The Middle Years* (LLMY), focused on effective and innovative literacy teaching for middle years students. This call for contributions represents a valuable professional engagement opportunity for literacy educators at all career stages. Writing for a professional journal deepens pedagogical thinking, contributes to the collective knowledge base of the profession, and provides recognition of practitioner expertise. AJLL submissions undergo blind peer review by at least two reviewers, while the practitioner journals welcome medium-length articles with illustrative material that document innovative classroom practice.
