Timesaving tech tools for Language teachers

Presented by Critical Agendas

Wednesday, September 16, 2026·11:30 PM

In this webinar, participants will explore powerful yet easy-to-use digital and AI tools that streamline lesson planning, create interactive activities in minutes, and simplify assessment and feedback. This is a hands-on workshop, and participants will come away with a host of new ideas for activities as well as ready-to-use classroom resources tailored to their students. Although the examples given in this workshop will come from French, the ideas presented are general in nature and can be applied in most Language classrooms, so teachers of all languages are encouraged to attend. Rowena Bata has been a Languages teacher for 25 years and she has worked at schools in Victoria as well as in France, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia. She has held various positions of leadership and has taught students of all ages, from Prep to adult. Rowena holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and she is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer. She is interested in bridging the gap between second language acquisition theory and what happens in a classroom, and she has a particular focus on the role that technology can play in the language learning process. Rowena has a wealth of experience that she brings to her presentations and her workshops are always practical and full of ideas for teachers to take away and use in their class immediately. Inspirational Speakers – the knowledge gained will be so beneficial in my classrooms I love the fantastic variety of workshops and conferences on offer. Always look forward to Critical Agendas PD’s. Unleashing Brilliant Brains: Boys, ADHD & the Power of Connection – Tony Vallance This has been the best PD I have ever attended. I have over 25 years of policing and only recently a teacher and feel so privileged that I get to have an impact on these young people. So grateful Tony for the work you do. Unleashing Brilliant Brains: Boys, ADHD & the Power of Connection – Tony Vallance This was fab! As a person with ADHD I have done lots of adhd training and sessions but this was by far the best! really good at re framing and explaining students need. Classroom Dynamics – the latest strategies and solutions to positive classroom management – Glen Pearsall Top quality presenter who knows his stuff and delivers it in a way that is easy to understand and to apply. Check in was easy and the Critical Agendas staff were very helpful and professional. “Strategies to Thrive as a Year Level Co-ordinator by Sally Learey” Sally was insightful and helped me to make clear connections to every day behaviours / emotions that I will need to recognise in my position. It really reiterated why I applied for this position in the first place as I think that often the purpose or the why is forgotten in an attempt to do everything for everyone. This session was one of the
