Arizona Assoc for Gifted & Talented Professional Development

The Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented (AAGT) offers year-round professional development dedicated to meeting the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of gifted and talented students across Arizona. As a nonprofit organisation of educators, parents, and community members, AAGT hosts three signature events each year: a state conference in February, a Gifted Educator Workshop in summer, and a Parent Institute in autumn. These events bring together advocates, researchers, administrators, educators, and policy makers to share research-based strategies in differentiation, technology integration, social-emotional support, and alignment with Arizona's K–12 Academic Standards. AAGT's professional development is designed to equip educators with practical tools to identify and nurture high-ability learners, while giving parents the knowledge and confidence to advocate for their children. The upcoming STEM-sational Summer Seminar offers a full day of hands-on STEM learning for gifted educators. Whether you're a classroom teacher, gifted specialist, or parent, AAGT provides a welcoming community committed to ensuring Arizona's brightest students receive the challenge and support they deserve.
