Future Ready Leadership Forum
Presented by Future Ready Librarians
Future Ready Librarians, an initiative of the Alliance for Excellent Education (All4Ed), presents the Future Ready Leadership Forum—a one-day personalised professional learning event designed to help innovative educators learn how to lead and support a culture of excellence and innovation in their schools and districts. This forum brings together district leaders, principals, instructional leaders and coaches, and school librarians who share a commitment to transforming learning through technology, equity, and collaboration. The Future Ready Librarians initiative is built on the Future Ready Librarians Framework 3.0, updated in 2025 with input from national library leaders to reflect the evolving role of school librarians as champions of multiple literacies—including media, digital, AI, and financial literacies—as well as leadership, collaboration, and equity. The framework provides a practical roadmap for aligning library goals with district priorities, advocating for impact, and strengthening student success in an increasingly digital learning environment. The Leadership Forum features deep-dive conversations, collaborative workshops, and networking opportunities where participants explore innovative projects and share ideas for leading meaningful digital learning experiences. With increased student and staff access to digital devices and open educational resources, Future Ready Librarians are uniquely positioned to teach and build capacity in others to effectively curate and leverage resources that meet school, classroom, and individual student needs. This event is ideal for school librarians, media specialists, instructional leaders, and district administrators seeking to position libraries at the centre of their school's innovation and learning ecosystem.
