Restorative Practices for Independent School Educators - Bethlehem, PA

This two-day introductory programme from the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) is specifically designed for independent school educators seeking to build a culture of collaborative leadership and strengthen connections across their school community. Held at the IIRP campus in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the training covers fundamental restorative practices theory and practical techniques for engaging effectively with students, staff, and parents. When independent schools integrate restorative practices into their administrative and academic methods, they establish an environment where all community members feel heard and valued, and where students develop transferable leadership skills crucial to personal, academic, and professional success. Participants will learn to use restorative approaches for building relationships, addressing conflict constructively, and fostering a sense of belonging throughout the school. The IIRP is a globally recognised graduate school dedicated to advancing the field of restorative practices through education and research. A Certificate of Participation indicating 12 hours of instruction time is provided upon completion of this in-person event.
