KID smART is a New Orleans-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming education through the arts, partnering with public schools, teaching artists, and community organisations for over two decades to ensure every child has access to high-quality arts education. The Galatoire's Mardi Gras Table Auction is one of New Orleans' most unique and beloved fundraising events, combining the city's legendary dining culture with its commitment to community philanthropy. Guests bid on coveted table reservations in Galatoire's historic main dining room for their famous Friday lunch during Mardi Gras season—a New Orleans tradition that's nearly impossible to secure otherwise. One hundred percent of auction proceeds go to the Galatoire Foundation and its beneficiary partners, with KID smART and The 18th Ward as the two table auction partners alongside micro-grant recipients including Ronald McDonald House of South Louisiana, Cafe Hope, Youth Empowerment Project, and others.
