Grand Opening Celebration

Join KID smART in celebrating the grand opening of the KID smART Arts & Education Center, a new permanent home for arts education in the heart of New Orleans' historic Bayou Road neighbourhood. Located at 2533 Columbus St., the centre features multiple visual arts studios, a dance and movement studio, a podcasting studio, a performing arts studio, and flexible training areas — all designed to expand creative programming for students, educators, and the broader community. This milestone event marks the culmination of KID smART's $5.5 million Creativity at the Center capital campaign. The facility, designed by EskewDumezRipple and built by Ryan Gootee General Contractors, enables KID smART to expand its reach by more than 250%, ensuring high-quality arts-integrated learning experiences for years to come.
