KID smART Student Showcase at Jazz Fest

KID smART students take centre stage at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in this celebrated annual showcase, performing monologues, plays, musical pieces, and other arts-integrated works developed through KID smART's in-school residency programs. KID smART is a New Orleans nonprofit that has collaborated with more than 40 public schools to weave the arts into academic instruction, making classrooms more effective and joyful places to learn. The Jazz Fest Student Showcase represents a culminating performance opportunity where students demonstrate the creative and academic skills they've built throughout the school year.
