Curriculum-Based Professional Learning Symposium

Presented by Learning Forward

Wednesday, April 29, 2026·12:00 PMPast Event

A two-day in-person symposium from Learning Forward, the only professional association devoted exclusively to educator professional development. This Curriculum-Based Professional Learning Symposium focuses on three foundational concepts: how curriculum-based PD drives effective use of high-quality instructional materials; how experiencing these materials as a learner shapes educator practice; and how implementing new curricula requires supporting educators through the change process. Participants engage in hands-on experiences, peer collaboration, and action planning. Learning Forward’s first CBPL Network (launched 2023) showed increased curriculum implementation integrity, student engagement, and improved student outcomes.
