Luís Freitas da Cruz was born in Guimarães, Portugal, in 2001. He started his cello studies at the age of five, with Professor Oxana Chvets at Academia de Música José Atalaya, where he finished high school with the highest grade. He continued cello studies with Professor Levon Mouradian at the Escola Superior
