Two-Part Series

Presented by New Leaders

New Leaders, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to developing transformational school leaders, presents this workshop series focused on driving data-driven instruction (DDI) in schools. The series unpacks the Data-Driven Instruction Cycle — a systematic approach to using student assessment data to continuously improve teaching and learning — and equips school leaders with the knowledge and strategies to build a genuine data-driven culture among their staff. Each workshop in the series addresses a different phase of the DDI cycle: setting the stage by assessing institutional readiness and identifying areas for improvement; diving deep into assessment and analysis, where leaders learn to disaggregate data at multiple levels (standards, student, and item) with particular attention to equity and the needs of historically underserved students; and finally, action and monitoring, where participants learn to translate data insights into high-impact instructional strategies and create implementation and meeting facilitation plans. What sets New Leaders' approach apart is their explicit focus on instructional leadership — the understanding that sustainable improvement in student outcomes requires school leaders who can set ambitious instructional visions, develop systems for professional development and collaboration, and coach teachers effectively. The workshops can be purchased separately or as a complete series, making them flexible enough to meet school and district leaders wherever they are in their DDI journey.
