Online Writing Workshop – Visible & Invisible Identities (Rising 7-8th Graders)

UCLA Center X offers this ten-day writing workshop designed for students entering 7th and 8th grades, focused on exploring visible and invisible identities through creative and personal writing. Running from 9am to 12pm each day, the workshop provides rising middle schoolers with a supportive, intellectually stimulating environment to develop their writing skills while engaging with questions of identity, self-expression, and the stories that shape who we are. Available both in person at UCLA and online, the workshop reflects Center X's commitment to making high-quality educational experiences accessible to a broad range of students. Participants will work with experienced writing instructors to develop their voice, craft, and confidence as writers, exploring how the identities we show the world and those we carry internally intersect, complement, and sometimes conflict.
