Career Conversations in Busselton
Presented by WA Dept of Education
Career Conversations in Busselton is part of the Western Australian Department of Education's recruitment initiative, offering an informal opportunity for people interested in teaching careers to connect with education professionals and learn about pathways into the profession. Held on Tuesday 25 August 2026 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, this event brings the Career Conversations programme to the Busselton community in regional Western Australia. These events are designed to answer questions about becoming a teacher, provide information about teaching in Western Australian public schools, and connect potential career changers and aspiring educators with people already working in the profession. The relaxed, conversational format makes it easy for attendees to explore their interest in teaching without any formal commitment. The WA Department of Education runs Career Conversations events across multiple locations throughout Western Australia, reflecting the state's commitment to attracting talented individuals into the teaching profession and addressing teacher workforce needs across metropolitan and regional areas.
