Tier 3 that works: Equity and Impact for Students with Learning Difficulties

Presented by Learning Difficulties Australia

This three-part course focuses on delivering effective Tier 3 intervention within a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) framework, ensuring equity and meaningful impact for students with learning difficulties. The program covers using data to drive support decisions and monitor student progress, presents case studies from leading Australian schools implementing intensive intervention, and discusses appropriate adjustments for students with learning difficulties. Participants explore how Tier 3 builds on the evidence-based Tier 1 instruction and Tier 2 small-group interventions that all students receive, with sessions addressing the practical realities of increasing intervention frequency, session length, duration, and reducing group size to meet individual learning needs. The course provides 4.5 CPD hours.
