MultiLit Professional Development Workshops

Presented by MultiLit

MultiLit — Making Up Lost Time in Literacy — offers a comprehensive programme of professional development workshops designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to deliver effective, evidence-based literacy instruction. As a research initiative of Macquarie University, MultiLit's professional learning is grounded in the Science of Reading and continually informed by an ongoing programme of research into what works in reading intervention and classroom instruction. Workshops cover MultiLit's suite of structured literacy programmes, including InitiaLit (whole-class Foundation to Year 2), MiniLit Sage (small-group intervention), and the original MultiLit reading intervention programme. Each workshop is delivered by School Partnership Consultants with extensive experience implementing these programmes across diverse school settings, ensuring the training is both theoretically sound and practically relevant. Sessions are available face-to-face across Australian capital cities and selected regional locations, via videoconference for participants anywhere in Australia, and through self-paced eLearning modules. MultiLit is endorsed by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) for Registered Professional Development, and workshops accommodate groups of up to 25 participants to ensure personalised, high-quality training.
