Jay McTighe is an internationally recognised education consultant and co-author of the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework, one of the most widely used curriculum planning approaches in the world. He has authored or co-authored 18 books, including 'Understanding by Design' and 'Designing Authentic Performance Tasks and Projects,' and has presented in all 50 US states and over 40 countries.
