About
Jim Knight, Ph.D., is the founder of the Instructional Coaching Group and a research associate at the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning. He coined the term 'instructional coaching' and developed the Impact Cycle model, which has been adopted by schools and districts worldwide. Knight is the author of numerous books including The Definitive Guide to Instructional Coaching, Instructional Coaching, and High-Impact Instruction, and has spent over 30 years researching and refining coaching practices in education.
