Peter Liljedahl

Dr. Peter Liljedahl is a Professor of Mathematics Education at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada, and the author of 'Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics, Grades K-12.' His research, conducted over 15 years in hundreds of classrooms, has identified 14 optimal teaching practices for fostering deep mathematical thinking and has influenced mathematics instruction worldwide.
