Dr. Rodger W. Bybee is a renowned science educator and the principal developer of the BSCS 5E Instructional Model. He served as executive director of the Biological Sciences Curriculum Study (BSCS) and as a writing team leader for the Next Generation Science Standards. He is the author of numerous books on science education including Translating the NGSS for Classroom Instruction and The BSCS 5E Instructional Model: Creating Teachable Moments.
