She is the co-author of 'Welcome to Teaching Multilingual Learners,' 'Equitable Instruction for English Learners in the Content Areas,' and 'Reading & Writing with English Learners: A Framework for K-5.' She has served as a classroom teacher, district ESL facilitator, and professional development specialist.
