Becoming a Songwriter: Identity Development Through Curriculum Revision

This study traces the author’s developing identities as a songwriter and songwriting teacher through design-based and arts-based approaches to curriculum development as well as the formation of a professional learning community of classroom songwriting teachers. Participation in this community furthered the author’s identity development as a songwriter and songwriting teacher.
