Instructional leadership is a cornerstone of US educational reform, but it is rarely aligned with cultural responsiveness. In this session on what I call culturally responsive instructional leadership, I tackle how educators can center community experiences and critical self-reflection, with an explicit focus on humanizing students and their knowledges.
