Participants attending this session will gain insights into the importance of integrating LGBT+ perspectives in primary science education. This session aims to explore how primary science education can be enriched by integrating LGBT+ perspectives, moving beyond the inclusion of role models to fostering a more inclusive and diverse learning environment. Participants will engage in discussions and activities designed to help them understand the importance of LGBT+ representation in science education and how to effectively incorporate these perspectives into their teaching practices. The aims of this session are to: 1. Raise Awareness: Increase understanding of the importance of LGBT+ perspectives in primary science education. 2. Practical Strategies: Provide practical strategies for integrating LGBT+ perspectives into science lessons. 3. Resource Sharing: Share resources and materials that support inclusive science education. By the end of the session, participants will be able to: Recognise the Importance: Understand the significance of LGBT+ perspectives in primary science education. Implement Strategies: Apply practical strategies to integrate LGBT+ perspectives into their science lessons. Utilise Resources: Access and utilise resources that support inclusive science education.
