Primary Keynote: Reflections on the 2025 State of Primary Science in the UK report

Reflections on the 2025 Primary Science State of the Nations Report The aim of this session is it to share outcomes and reflections on the 2025 State of the Nations report. This was undertaken as a sector-wide survey, following on from the Wellcome Trust 2019 Report. The National Primary Science Education Group have brought about this research on how primary science education is delivered, led and viewed by staff in primary schools across the four nations of the UK. It has sought to inform the work of the primary science sector and to shape future policy proposals. Participants will : - be informed of the outcomes and trends arising from the report - have reviewed and critiqued the implications on primary teaching, leadership and policy
