The burette is the least important part of a titration
In this practical we will do few titrations that do not include the use of a burette. The main motivator for this is that in my country (Bulgaria) schools seldomly have enough burettes for the whole class even if divided by groups. To find a solution we break down what are the important parts of such practical and what are the aims. If we assume that titration is an analytical process in which solutions react and we make conclusions based on this reactions then the important bits are: we should know the reaction; we should know some of the concentrations and should be able to measure some quantities; alternatively we should be able to corelate quantities; we should be able to mix reagents; we should be able to make conclusions based on calculations. When we are content with this we can think of many other ways to do a titration, with the only limiting factor being how accurate we want the measurment to be.
