Demystifying Accountability to Support Student Learning and Opportunity

Accountability data can feel confusing or disconnected from classroom practice. This session will unpack Connecticut’s accountability system, clarify common misconceptions about assessments and growth measures, and highlight how leaders and educators can use this knowledge to improve instruction and expand access to advanced learning opportunities. Participants will leave with strategies and resources to help them lead conversations in their schools and districts, shifting the narrative from compliance to meaningful improvement for students.
