Every Morning Counts: Using Morning Meeting to Engage in Mathematical Thinking

Morning Meeting offers a joyful, purposeful way to build community and readiness to learn. When combined with math, it supports equitable instruction by giving every student a voice to reason, represent, and communicate. In this interactive session, participants will experience and reflect on Morning Meeting structures that promote access, discourse, and student agency. Educators will then design or adapt a math-infused Morning Meeting aligned with standards, leaving with ready-to-use ideas and one clear action to make every morning count.
