In this session, we will explore an approach to teaching operations that invites students to notice patterns, to make and defend claims, and to use representations to prove their thinking. Come learn how and why integrating algebraic reasoning into elementary classrooms can both strengthen understanding and encourage deep mathematical thinking for all.
