I Am Still Here!: How the Unseen Black Girl in Math Reclaims Her Space

A powerful co-presentation featuring a Black female high school student and a math educator. The student shares her raw experience of feeling unseen and unheard in middle school math. We then pivot to the educator's response, modeling equity-driven practices and teacher identify work that cultivate thinking-centered, belonging-rich math classrooms.
