The Story Beneath the Scores: Strengths-Based Coaching Framework for Equity in Math
Part of ATOMIC Conference March 2026
Monday 23 March 2026·5:50 pm
Every data point tells a story—and our work as coaches is to look beyond performance and understand the learning taking place. In this interactive session, math coaches and leaders will explore the Explore–Reflect–Reframe framework, a strengths-based and equity-centered coaching approach. Using real classroom examples, participants will practice reframing deficit narratives, analyzing data through a lens of access and agency, and crafting coaching questions that build trust. Leave ready to transform data conversations into opportunities for growth, reflection, and meaningful change.
