Come prepared to play and learn strategies that help teach the following concepts: composing/decomposing 10's, 100.s and 1,000's, comparing numbers, using number lines for patterns, developing the foundation for rounding and expanding numbers. Games integrate the use of cards, dice, number lines and are easy to differentiate and use in whole class or small group instruction. Handout will contain gameboards, student samples will be shared, concept skill checklists provided.
