Learn how to guide your students to count by 1s and to skip count with manipulatives. Discover how to help students develop number sense, place value and understand basic operations, especially addition and subtraction. Explore skip counting strategies that will enable students to develop pre-multiplication and pre-division skills. The system presented is adaptable to all grade levels and aims to support the progressive learning of students in mathematics, providing concrete and visual tools to reinforce their understanding with a transfer to the symbolic form.
